As previously reported, TNA recently hired a consulting firm to analyze their television ratings data and conduct surveys to learn what fans think about the product. One of the findings that have caught the attention of TNA management is that males 18-34 still have strong positive feelings about the original ECW. Based on that research, Eric Bischoff is said to interested in starting a stable of ECW originals – led by none other than Paul Heyman.
Among the names discussed to be included in the faction include TNA World Champion Rob Van Dam, Team 3D, Raven, Mick Foley, Stevie Richards, Taz and Tommy Dreamer, who is currently a free agent.
People within TNA are torn as to whether Heyman would come to TNA as an on air character or writer – but it’s certainly being talked about. Heyman is currently working on his autobiography and another book.
