UPDATE: HBO has released the first official trailer for Ballers, the new half-hour ‘dramedy’ series starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson that premieres June 21st.
Ballers follows a group of former and current football stars living in Miami. Johnson stars and is also an Executive Producer, along with his Pain & Gain co-star Mark Wahlberg (‘Entourage’).
The cast also includes Omar Benson Miller (‘CSI: Miami’), John David Washington (son of Denzel Washington) and Rob Corddry (‘Childrens Hospital’).
ORIGINAL: The Rock revealed the premiere date for his new HBO show “Ballers” on Twitter. “Ballers” is set to debut on HBO on Sunday, June 21st at 10pm, right after the premiere episode of season two of the HBO hit-series True Detective.
