WWE.com has posted the following storyline injury update on Paige following last night’s RAW…
Naomi’s attack on Paige following the Divas Battle Royal has left the No. 1 contender to the Divas Title injured. Though the specifics have yet to be confirmed, early reports suggest that Paige suffered internal injuries as a result of the attack, which saw The Diva of Tomorrow beaten outside the ring and thrown into the barricade repeatedly.
Following a medical consultation, Paige’s doctors have advised her not to compete until further notice.”
As previously reported, Paige is expected to take time off to film the WWE Studios movie Santa’s Little Helper.
