“Today is the 18th Anniversary of ECW’s very first pay per view, Barely Legal. I was going to do a Heyman Hustle episode around this behind the scenes clip, but I can’t think of any words that can convey just how much that day meant to all of us who struggled, who fought, who sacrificed, who believed in a dream that even against two billionaires, “the cause” could survive, could thrive … and could get on pay per view. 18 years later, and until the end of time, I will be forever grateful for the impossible fantasy that came to life because of the relentless passion of a group of unwanted misfit toys and the fans who pushed us through every barrier the system imposed on us! ”
