In an interview with the Citizens Voice newspaper, R-Truth spoke about entering the Elimination Chamber for the fourth time. Here are highlights:
On the Elimination Chamber: “It’s something new each time you go in there. There’s no way to prepare for something like that. You can’t prepare. I don’t worry about competition. I let the competition worry about me. You worry about something like the Elimination Chamber, you’re gonna psych yourself out.”
On what to expect from the match: “If you’ve never been in there before, you don’t know what to expect. If you’ve been in there before, you still don’t know what to expect.”
On his Payback opponent Stardust: “I love getting inside his head, though, you know what I’m saying? Love getting inside his head.”
On being with family during down time: “I love hanging out with my family. When I’m not at work, I’m at home working. I’m a full-time dad.”
