According to sources, WWE is interested in picking up Moose, Adam Cole and Jay Lethal from Ring of Honor, as well as the now-former TNA star Gunner. The company wanted to bring in Moose as a “ringer” on Tough Enough but wouldn’t guarantee that he would be offered a contract if he didnt win, but had offered the possibility. Moose very recently revealed that he signed a deal with ROH, which assumedly takes him off the table for the company.
Jay Lethal’s contract with ROH is apparently close to expiring, with no offer extended at this time. With that being said, Lethal just won the ROH World Title of course, and also holds the TV Title. Some feel that ROH gave him the World Title with the hope of convincing him to re-sign with the company as they have long-term main event plans in store if he decides to sign a new contract.
In regard to Gunner, it was not his decision to leave TNA. The same goes for Samuel Shaw. No more details are available as to the reasons why they were released.
