As previously reported, Dolph Ziggler has been removed from WWE TV “indefinitely” after a storyline injury caused by Rusev last week. While this has caused speculation about his contract status, it appears as though he will stay in WWE.
According to a source, Ziggler has signed a new contract with the company. He’s off TV because he’s shooting the new WWE Studios movie 6:42. The film is a thriller in which Ziggler plays a cop named Ray Fitzpatrick. He has to overcome his past while dealing with a plot to blow up a kid with a bomb strapped to their chest. Filming will last for four weeks.
Ziggler should be back on TV in time for Summerslam.
