UPDATE: WWE.com has posted a profile on NJPW star Jushin Liger following the announcement that he will appear at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn. The profile touches on his history in Japan and his run in WCW, including winning the WCW Light Heavyweight Title from Brian Pillman in 1991. You can read it at the link.
In addition, New Japan has booked Shinsuke Nakamura, Kazuchika Okada and Kushida for the same night at ROH’s show, which is also in Brooklyn. Take the following vagary for what it’s worth, but a source notes that there are “other significant moves” involving NXT and ROH which do not involve New Japan that are “likely to become evident in short order.”
Stay tuned …..
