— On Saturday, a press conference was held to promote the G1 Climax event, and during the presser it was announced that New Japan Pro Wrestling has entered into an agreement with NXT to scout potential talent.
Additionally, New Japan claimed that they are officially partnering with promotions in the United States including Ring of Honor, NWA and Global Force Wrestling. WWE was not listed.
Also during the press conference, New Japan made a big deal of other companies they are partnering with, such as Revolution Pro Wrestling in the U.K., CMLL in Mexico and Germany’s WXW.
