— The Honky Tonk Man is trying to trademark the phrase, “The Legends of Rock and Wrestling, Roddy Piper, Jake the Snake Roberts, and Ricky Steamboat.”

— The golf company Acushnet Company and an eye lens company called Intercast Europe are currently opposing WWE’s registration of the “WWE NXT” trademark, due to each company owning their own “NXT” trademark.
