UPDATE x 2: Here is an update on John Cena’s condition following reports of him potentially being injured after a bump he took during his match against Kevin Owens at last night’s house show in Hampton, Virginia. According to sources, the word among wrestlers at the show was that Cena “seemed OK” after the match in the back. Cena’s injury is reportedly not very serious, and he is not expected to miss any time.
During his match against Owens, Cena appeared to go for a sunset flip powerbomb, but he did not get the full rotation. When Owens went over for the move, they both went down to the mat, and Cena fell to the canvas on the base of his neck. After the match was finished, Cena was helped to the back by WWE officials. A video of the above described spot can be seen below.
UPDATE: It isn’t confirmed if this is the spot, but the following video has surfaced from last night’s house show which could have been where Cena got injured:

ORIGINAL: John Cena may have been injured during a live event in Hampton, Virginia. He was in a street fight with Kevin Owens when he went down, the match stopped and the referee threw up an “X” symbol. According to the source, it appeared that Cena was having problems with either his nose or his neck. His nose, of course, was recently broken by Seth Rollins during a match on RAW. Trainers came out but Cena wrestled for another six minutes and went through a table to win the match. After it was over, several WWE officials came out with the trainers and they checked out his nose and neck area for around five minutes. Cena looked to be in pain as he went straight to the backstage area before stopping to point to the crowd.
