Bill Eadie (Ax) said that he had suffered from an allergic reaction to shellfish and said that he ended up with a life-threatening reaction after WrestleMania VI. Crush was brought in after that and Eadie became more of a manager.
Eadie noted that there were also some unkept promises and with his singles career winding down and he felt it was time to leave.
