Steve Austin took to Twitter last week to shoot down rumors that he would be facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. According to sources, those in WWE close to the situation know nothing about an Austin vs. Lesnar match. Every indication is that Austin will not return to wrestle at the event.
There was a lot of talk of a possible match a few months back when Austin cut a promo on Lesnar during his podcast with Paul Heyman. Vince McMahon was reportedly upset Austin cut the promo since the match was not going to be happening.
The feeling is that Austin will have a role in the show, because the goal is to make this the biggest WWE show of all time, but nothing is confirmed at this time.
