TNA’s Bound for Glory could come up against a natural disaster. (No, not Fred Ottman!) FOX 46 Charlotte reports that Hurricane Joaquin has been upgraded to a category 4 storm. The storm is headed towards the North Carolina coastline and could be near Charlotte where the pay-per-view is being held. It should be noted that the latest weather model trends late Thursday night were taking the storm further east and out to sea which is good news for the entire east coast if those trends continue.
While the storm is expected to weaken by Sunday, it should still be a category 2 storm which brings the the possibility of high winds, flooding and worse. The Governor of Virginia has already declared a state of emergency and is telling residents to prepare for the possibility of road closures and power outages.
TNA has yet to comment on the situation as they continue to monitor the latest model trends.
