Amidst a downward trend in ratings, WWE got good news this week with SmackDown!. Thursday’s episode brought in 2.294 million viewers and a 0.63 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic, which are up 8% and 11% from last week’s 2.123 million and 0.57. The viewership is the best since the August 20th episode brought in 2.434 million viewers, while the demo rating is the highest since August 27th’s 0.65.
WWE SmackDown! scored #4 for the night among cable originals, with Thursday Night Football on the NFL Network leading the way at 7.566 million viewers and a 2.58 demo rating. That’s down from 8.79 million and a 3.06 last week. The #2 and #3 spots went to the NFL Network post-game and pre-game shows.
