As previously reported, AJ Styles has been dealing with a herniated disc and nerve pain in his lower back. The injury was causing so many problems that Styles had to be pulled form the NJPW World Tag League tournament, after forfeiting several matches. He has been rehabbing and was sent home early from that tour.
According to sources, Styles is currently planning to work the December 18th ROH Final Battle PPV as well as the TV tapings the next day. The word is that if for some reason Styles cannot go, Jay Lethal will defend the ROH Title against Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly.
