While it is looking increasingly unlikely, WWE still has hope that The Rock will make some kind of appearance at WrestleMania 32. The company is holding out hope that Rock will be able to appear in some capacity on the show.
While previously-reported insurance issues with a film he was scheduled for are keeping him from wrestling, an idea was floated to have him do an interview segment at the PPV. However, that may not be doable either as he is scheduled to be filming for Baywatch and the word is that even holding up production for one day for WrestleMania will be difficult to do.
The situation is said to be comparable to Ronda Rousey not appearing at WrestleMania due to her UFC commitments, although she is going to be in Indonesia while The Rock will be much closer in Savannah, Georgia.
