UPDATE: The original rumors come from someone claiming to work in WWE’s Human Resources department stating that one of their co-workers processed a release for Daniel Bryan next Monday, January 18th. WWE gave the following statement
“There is no truth to this letter from a supposed WWE employee.”
ORIGINAL: While there have been several rumors floating around stating that the WWE was in the process of releasing Daniel Bryan, there is no truth to the rumors. They add that Bryan is still in great standing with the WWE, but has not been cleared to wrestle by the company. Bryan will be featured on the next season of Total Divas, along with his wife Brie Bella.
