According to sources, The New Day doing the inducting of the Fabulous Freebirds at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is due to Michael Hayes. Hayes is reportedly a big fan of the tag team champions.
The team’s new babyface push was a factor in their being given the induction duties. The team will induct the Freebirds at the Hall of Fame ceremony on April 2nd, the night before WrestleMania.
