— NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood is set to debut on September 17 at 8PM Pacific on KDOC channel 56 in the LA Area. There will be a replay on Saturdays at 11PM. The company will be holding a second taping on September 29 at the Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana, CA.

— The Expendables is expected to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray as a Director’s Cut at some point, but the studio is said to be interested in getting a basic DVD version out in time for the holidays as well.

— A story on the closing of Bourbon Street in Tampa, a bar that guest hosted indy events for many years, is available at http://www2.tbo.com/ FCW used to run shows there until a recent edict from WWE told the developmental promotion to stop running in bars.

— A report says that Diamond Dallas Page and UFC star Tito Ortiz are working together on a reality show similar to The Ultimate Fighter, which would pit Tito’s Team Punishment against another MMA gym to find the next MMA star.
