FOX News reports that Kurt Angle’s brother David has accepted a plea deal for charges of killing his wife in Pennsylvania. Angle, 63, was charged with homicide but pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter yesterday.
Allegheny County homicide detectives claim Angle was arguing with his wife Donna (57) about vodka last September. She tried to kick him but he dragged her off a couch, stepped on her chest and pulled her arms. She became unconscious and he called 911 when he couldn’t revive her. Defense attorney William Difenderfer told WTAE-TV that David was “intoxicated” and the death was “almost accidental.”
David will be sentenced in September and faces up to ten years in prison.
