As reported on Thursday here on eWrestlingNews.com, ESPN radio host Amin Elhassan apologized for a tweet he posted in response to the video posted on social of Kevin Owens’ son reacting to his father’s title victory on RAW. Elhassan was highly criticized for the Twitter response to the video, which said, “Until someone told him it was scripted.” Eventually, Elhassan posted an apology, which you can see below. Now it seems Kevin Owens tweeted out his own response after the news of Elhassan apologizing was making the rounds.
Owens posted the tweet yesterday (Sept. 2), a very short time Elhassan shared his apology. You can check out Owens’ own tweet, which reads “I win” below.
I tweeted a joke about wrestling earlier this week and it was in poor taste. I sincerely apologize to kevin owens and his family.
