Hulk Hogan appeared on Eric Bischoff’s podcast, which was part three of the interview. During this part, Bischoff asked Hogan what he missed most from wrestling, and Hogan responded with the following…
That’s an easy answer. That is the only place that I ever felt free. What I was in the ring people call it, “In the moment.” People call it, “Being aware.” All of that spiritual stuff that people attach to “being in the moment” and being perfectly happy and perfectly content. For me that was in the ring. When I was in the ring I didn’t have to worry about the kids. I didn’t have to worry about the ex-wife. I didn’t have to worry about all the chatter. The politics of, “Why is Hulk Hogan on top?” All the gaga as Pat Patterson would say.
