Report – Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte To Main Event Tonight’s HIAC PPV

Despite some confusion following a Mick Foley post on Facebook and then a tweet by Vince McMahon causing some confusion earlier this week, Sasha Banks defending the RAW Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair will main event Hell in a Cell tonight.

According to multiple wrestling media reports on Sunday, the plan was Banks and Charlotte Flair to close the show tonight in Boston as of this morning. This would be the first time in WWE history that a women’s match would close a Pay Per View event.

We noted in our Hell in a Cell preview earlier that WWE.com had given the match top billing in the actual Hell in a Cell area of the website. WWE has yet to officially confirm anything about Banks and Charlotte as the main event and continue to push the “triple main event” advertising with Banks vs. Charlotte, Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship and Roman Reigns vs. Rusev for the WWE United States Championship.
