There have been rumors that TJ Perkins did not like the fact that Sasha Banks and Charlotte were in the main event of Hell in a Cell. The rumors claim that Perkins tweeted and then deleted a negative post about it. However, there have been no screenshots found of the tweet so there’s no proof. Perkins himself denied it on Twitter when answering fan questions. He wrote:
@MegaTJP So what do you make of these recent rumors about you ruffling some feathers behind the scenes?

No idea. Everyone is really nice to me at work, especially my peers and my bosses, even the big boss. https://t.co/gQBBq7sBnl

Ppl make stuff about me all the time with the hopes that others will find me less appealing. https://t.co/2PoO2BBfZR

@MegaTJP are you mad that Sasha and Charlotte main-evented Hell In A Cell, taking away that opportunity from the male wrestlers?

@MegaTJP That's good to know, man. You never know with these things sometimes 🤔

Sadly ppl like to tear down good things. Kinda like "peers being upset" about my life story. Everyone was super cool & supportive. Not upset https://t.co/OlKQtGkQUj

I'm not really familiar with that stuff. Seeing as how openly social/supportive I am with my female peers it seems like odd news to buy into https://t.co/NieXnlJKlT
