As of this writing, John Cena is currently not advertised for the event by the arena website or WWE. It’s the final PPV before WrestleMania 33.
Cena is currently filming the second season of American Grit but is expected to be back for a live event at Madison Square Garden on December 26. He will be taking time off later in 2017, as he has a role in the film The Pact. We previously reported that WWE officials were concerned with how much Cena will be available next year due to his commitments outside of the company.
