Conor McGregor, the UFC Lightweight Champion, said that there are “conversations ongoing” between himself and WWE about an appearance at this year’s WrestleMania and that he has already “turned down some things,” according to FOX Sports.
“Never say never. I know there’s been conversations,” McGregor revealed when speaking about the WWE. “I know Triple H was at the show (UFC 205). I’d love to go to that WWE and have a real knock. Let one of them have a real knock and see what’s what. We’ll see.
“There’s conversations ongoing. I’ve turned down some things, conversations still ongoing.”
McGregor and WWE wrestlers have “feuded” in the past after McGregor said that he would “slap the head off [the] entire roster” and several WWE wrestlers responded.
I didn't mean no disrespect to the @wwe fans. What I meant to say was that I'd slap the head off your entire roster. And twice on Sunday's.
