Lucha Underground Sends Cease And Desist Order To TNA

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Lucha Underground has sent TNA a Cease and Desist order. The C&D was sent because on tonight’s episode of Impact Wrestling TNA will air a match between The Hardy Boys and the team of Super Crazy/Psychosis. The referee for the match is contracted to Lucha Underground and thus may not legally be shown on a competitor’s program. We do not have the name of the referee yet – but once we do we will update the posting.

Meltzer speculates the referee will need to be digitized with his face completely blurred out during tonight’s broadcast. TNA taped this episode of Impact Wrestling previously so it will be intriguing to see how they deal with this nearly last minute legal challenge.
