On Talking Smack, The Miz got into another argument with Daniel Bryan, which led to this exchange:
Miz: I was a huge star before I came to WWE and if I wasn’t in WWE, I could go do something else.
Bryan: Like what?
Miz: I could be an actor if I wanted.
Bryan: Made to DVD movies?
Maryse: How many movies have you done?
Bryan: I don’t do movies. I don’t want to be an actor.
Miz: You want to be a wrestler, but you can’t because of your head. It’s OK.
Bryan: I can’t or they won’t let me? We’ll see in a year and a half and see what happens.
There’s a lot of speculation about what Bryan could mean by “we’ll see in a year and a half.” Word is that his WWE contract expires next year, so could he possibly go somewhere else to wrestle? Doctor opinion about Bryan’s concussions/brain injury that caused his retirement has apparently been mixed, with him previously claiming that many doctors cleared him to wrestle, but WWE doctors would not. Brie Bella is also currently pregnant with her and Bryan’s child, so that could also affect his urge to return to the ring one way or the other. It could also just be part of a storyline, though that particular exchange seemed clearly not scripted.
