ROH News: Richards Update, NYC Issues, New Markets

— Roderick Strong and Eddie Edwards will be teaming in Pro Wrestling NOAH’s 4th NTV Cup Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team League Tournament from October 15 to October 30.

— The next ROH TV tapings take place on October 1 & 2 in Philadelphia, PA. Already scheduled to appear are Roderick Strong, Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, Colt Cabana, Steve Corino, Christopher Daniels (first night only), Dark City Fight Club and Mike Bennett.

— ROH is clearing new markets on HDNet via Comcast, which include Detroit and Philly. The company is very happy about this development.

— Davey Richards will be working for New Japan Pro Wrestling as a regular. Between his obligations there and with ROH, he will likely not be working many additional independent dates.

— As of now, there are no plans to move the December 18th Final Battle event to the Hammerstein Ballroom. Some have felt since they have been turning away people from the Grand Ballroom that they should move back to the Hammerstein, but it is felt that running the Hammerstein regularly is not a viable investment.
