As mentioned yesterday, Mauro Ranallo has signed a new multi-year deal with WWE and will be the new voice of NXT.
Today, Mauro confirmed on Twitter that he’ll be replacing Tom Phillips on NXT and the commentary team will consist of him, Nigel McGuinness and Percy Watson. The first NXT tapings with Mauro are taking place tonight at Full Sail University.

Mauro was also interviewed by the Associated Press and had just a brief comment about WWE, saying, “I was willing to walk away from my dream job, let’s leave it at that. In order for me to do that, I had to be true to my convictions and what makes you a human being.”
