Former World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali returned to WWE tonight at Battleground, attacking Randy Orton and helping Jinder Mahal win his Punjabi Prison Match.
Khali was last in WWE in 2014, leaving in November of that year after his contract expired. Since then, has been running his own wrestling school in Punjab, India.
No word yet on whether his return was a one-time thing or if he’ll be a regular part of the roster.
