PWInsider is reporting that according to two of their sources backstage at SmackDown tonight, the plan right now is for Jinder Mahal to face Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam.
Nakamura is facing John Cena tonight on SmackDown, with the winner taking on Jinder Mahal at SummerSlam.
Plans could obviously change (or this rumor could be wrong), but that’s the rumor, “for what it’s worth.”
