Adam Cole, er, BayBay. PWInsider confirms that the long expected deal taking Adam Cole to NXT has gone through ending a long time of speculation. No doubt this means he’ll appear in the crowd of NXT Takeover Brooklyn III, almost a tradition for every Takeover event at this point.
The former ROH and PWG champion had a tryout with WWE back in 2013, but clearly wasn’t able to make the cut then. 4 years in ROH and NJPW have clearly made Cole a more attractive option for WWE in more recent times and an Observer-rated 5 star match involving him teaming with the Bucks to take on Matt Sydal, Ricochet and Will Osprey would lend some credence to that thought.
But the question is, will his new theme still call him Adam Cole Bay-Bay?
