Low Ki has left GFW, PWInsider is reporting. He made the decision to leave during this week’s GFW TV tapings.
PWInsider says that there are a couple of different accounts of what happened. One is that there was a financial dispute, and the other is that Low Ki was not happy with GFW’s plans for him. They reportedly wanted him to be part of an Ultimate X match at Bound for Glory, but Low Ki wanted to be in the GFW World Championship mix.
He was scheduled to face Alberto El Patron for the GFW Championship at Destination X this past Thursday, but that match was canceled due to Alberto being stripped of the title and still being suspended.
He returned to Impact on April 20 of this year, winning the X Division Championship before dropping it to Sonjay Dutt the next month. He was most recently involved in a feud with Alberto El Patron, attacking him and joining LAX.
He appeared at a few shows during GFW’s TV tapings this week, so he’ll be on TV for the next couple of weeks at least.
