Yes, that does say a best abs contest. While an actual match would be one of my actual dream matches, this will have to do for now. Shawn Michaels works in NXT as one of the trainers and in a series of Tweets from his account which are embedded below, it appears that Johnny Gargano wanted a plan to get him back on track with his physical conditioning and the Heartbreak Kid came up with the idea of having this abs contest.
As NXT War Games is in Shawn’s home state of Texas, this is likely to be a dark segment on the show to give the fans something. But I think it could be a fun little thing and hope it makes the Network, even if it’s on the weekly show instead of the War Games broadcast.
