Adam Cole suffered a non-serious head injury during Thursday’s NXT house show in Austin, Texas, based on fan reports. The injury occurred during a six-man tag match between The Undisputed Era and Sanity after a spot on the outside resulted in all three members of the Undisputed Era colliding head first with each other. Cole suffered the worst out of the three with his head being cut open, and had to leave the match for immediate medical attention.
The injury appeared to not have been as serious as initially thought since Cole was able to return to finish the match after some treatment. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported Cole needed around seven staples to close his head wound and is currently expected to be medically cleared for the War Games match at Saturday’s NXT Takeover: WarGames event.
