Hideo Itami made his WWE main roster debut tonight on Raw during a Finn Balor vs. Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel handicap match. After Dallas and Axel got DQed and started stomping away on Balor, Itami ran down to a pretty good pop and took them out. There was then an “impromptu” tag team match, with Balor and Itami winning after Itami hit his “Go to Sleep” finisher on Axel.
Itami’s debut was a call back to Finn Balor’s NXT debut, when he teamed up with Itami to take on The Ascension.
Despite the non-Cruiserweight debut, Itami will still be part of 205 Live and the Cruiserweight division.
