Bobby Lashley to WWE?
Bobby Lashley is very close to signing with WWE, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
Lashley’s Impact contract expires on February 1, so he’ll be free to sign anywhere then.
He has reportedly been in negotiations with both WWE and NJPW and he’s no longer negotiating with NJPW, Meltzer says.
Meltzer speculated that Lashley may feud with Brock Lesnar later this year, if Lesnar ends up re-signing with WWE after WrestleMania.
Lashley was under contract with WWE from 2004-2008 before joining TNA in 2009.
Hall of Fame Names
Goldberg and the Dudley Boyz have officially been named to be part of WWE’s 2018 Hall of Fame Class.
Mark Henry and Ivory are two more names that are rumored to be joining them, according to PWInsider.
Nigel McGuinness
Nigel McGuinness was not on commentary for NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia on Saturday, with Mauro explaining that he was feeling “under the weather.”
McGuinness did actually legitimately have the flu, according to Dave Meltzer.
