Details from Enzo Amore Police Report Released

Pro Wrestling Sheet obtained the Phoenix police department’s report about the sexual assault allegations made against Enzo Amore, which ultimately determined that the case was closed due to “insufficient evidence.”

One noteworthy detail from the report is that it says that Enzo was not informed about the police investigation until the woman went public with the allegations. When WWE released Enzo the day after the allegations, a major reason was reportedly the feeling that Enzo did not inform WWE about the police investigation. Enzo denied that he had knowledge of it in interviews and the police report seems to corroborate that. The report says, “After the victim public disclosed the active investigation, the suspect [redacted] now had knowledge of the investigation and all contact was directly to his attorneys.”

Another detail in the report talked about a former friend of the woman coming forward as a witness in support of Enzo Amore, showing text messages that he claimed showed that the woman was being untruthful. That video can be viewed here.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, “the report notes that a forensic exam was taken four days after the incident, but did not show the presence of any male DNA on the alleged victim.”
