WWE is currently rumored to be holding another all women’s event in 2018 in addition to the Mae Young Classic, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet.
Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin reported that there have been talks recently within WWE of holding a women’s-only event involving main roster talent later this year, possibly around September or October. A possible reason for this event is rumored to be WWE wanting to make up for the controversial decision to hold the Greatest Royal Rumble with none of their women talents being allowed to participate at the event.
At the moment, it is currently not known if this rumored event would also include talent from NXT, former WWE stars, or non-contracted talent.
