One of the members of the “Four Horsewomen” of MMA, Marina Shafir, made her NXT wrestling debut last night at a house show in Largo, FL.
She teamed with Nikki Cross to defeat Aaliyah and Rhea Ripley. Shafir got the win after hitting Aaliyah with a throw, then locking on an armbar submission to force the tap out.
Other “Horsewoman” Jessamyn Duke was also advertised for the show, but wasn’t there for whatever reason.
Wow! Just wow! Thank you #NXTLargo for such an incredible welcome! Tonight was nothing like I’ve ever experienced before, and now that the adrenaline has dumped, I’m gunna go pass out now! @WWENXT
