Joey Janela Injury Update: Out for Longer Than Expected Due to Terrible Knee Injury

Joey Janela will be out for at least one year after suffering a terrible injury to his leg last week at a GCW show after a top rope dive to the outside.

Well I met my surgeon today, it’s official I’ll be gone for atleast a year… even worse then I thought, really heartbroken. He said this one was is really bad, surgery next week… 😔 The voyage has never been easy for me, It's a long way to the top

He has been stripped of the WWN Championship and a tournament will be held at an EVOLVE show on October 28 in Ybor City, FL to determine the new champion.

It was announced that Janela will still be booking a GCW show on November 6 in Los Angeles called “Joey Janela’s LA Confidential.”
