Enes Kanter Wants to Wrestle

New York Knicks starting center Enes Kanter was interviewed by Vice and said that he was “really serious” about wanting to wrestle in WWE after he retires from basketball.

Kanter said that he had dinner with Paul Heyman a few days ago.

Kanter is actually currently dating Dana Brooke.

Today, he’s close friends with several professional wrestlers and is dedicated to becoming one after he retires from basketball, which he hopes won’t be until his mid-30’s.

“I’m actually talking to the people over there now. Vince McMahon, he knows me,” Kanter says. “I had dinner with [Paul Heyman] two, three days ago. I asked him how long he’s gonna do this and he said ‘as long as Brock [Lesnar] goes, I go, and then I’m with you.’ I’m like yes! Seriously. I’m really serious about it.”

NXT Germany?

WWE is considering another NXT brand in Germany, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

It would possibly have a relationship with German promotion wXw, similar to WWE’s relationship with PROGRESS, where several of their wrestlers are now on the NXT UK brand.

WWE will have a tryout in Germany next month.

WWE has been trying to sign WALTER, who is the current wXw Champion.
