Ric and Charlotte Flair Defamation Lawsuit Update

As noted before, WWE, Ric Flair, and Charlotte Flair are currently involved in defamation lawsuit filed by one of Charlotte’s ex-husbands. Riki Paul Johnson is suing WWE and the Flairs over what he alleges are false claims made in the biographical book Second Nature regarding Charlotte’s life before she joined WWE.

In an update to the defamation lawsuit’s status, author Brian Shields was also named as a defendant in the lawsuit due to his involvement with the book. The lawsuit revealed that Riki Paul Johnson is currently asking for $500,000 in actual damages and an additional $5 million in punitive damages. The lawsuit also alleges that Charlotte Flair made racist comments, which were caught on police dash cam video footage, against the African-American community in Chapel Hill, North Carolina during a past incident involving the couple.

Lucha Underground Ratings – October 17, 2018

This week’s episode of Lucha Underground drew 73,000 viewers on the El Rey Network, down from last week’s 84,000 viewers. Season four of Lucha Underground will conclude on November 7th following the end of part two of Ultima Lucha IV.
