Ric Flair Scheduled to Appear at This Monday’s WWE RAW
Ric Flair reportedly is scheduled to make an appearance at this Monday’s episode of WWE RAW in Orlando, Florida, according to PWInsider.
Flair’s role for the show is currently unknown but it is speculated he could be helping pay tribute to the late “Mean” Gene Okerlund. Besides Flair, Hulk Hogan is also currently scheduled to appear on RAW to pay tribute to Okerlund.
WWE Network to Air a Nigel McGuinness Documentary on January 12th
WWE will be airing a Nigel McGuinness documentary special on the WWE Network following the end of NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool on January 12th. This documentary, titled The Nigel McGuinness Story, is currently scheduled to air at 4:30PM ET and will be one hour in length.

“The story of Nigel McGuinness, a man with lifelong aspirations of becoming a WWE Superstar, whose career was unceremoniously cut short.”

In a Wrestling History type fact, Hiroshi Tanahashi became the first G1 Climax briefcase holder in the “rights certificate” era to successfully win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Kingdom. Tanahashi defeated Kenny Omega for the championship at last week’s Wrestle Kingdom 13 event.
EVOLVE announced that Adam Cole and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) will be making an appearance for the company at their February 15th EVOLVE 121 event in Atlanta, Georgia.
Matt Sydal is reported to have recently suffered a knee injury, according to PWInsider. The cause and severity of the injury was not known as of Saturday.
