As noted before, Lars Sullivan and several others from NXT are currently expected to be making their main roster debuts very soon. EC3 and Lacey Evans reportedly competed in dark matches prior to Monday’s episode of RAW while Heavy Machinery competed in a dark match at SmackDown last night.
Lars Sullivan reportedly was also scheduled to compete in a dark match at one of this week’s set of WWE tapings but those plans were pulled due to unknown reasons, according to Post Wrestling. John Pollock reported that Sullivan was originally scheduled to face off against Curt Hawkins in a dark match prior to Monday’s RAW but was pulled in favor of EC3 instead. Sullivan was then scheduled to compete in a dark match prior to Tuesday’s SmackDown Live but those plans were similarly shelved.
The reason for WWE’s change in plans is currently not known but Sullivan was seen backstage during Monday’s episode of RAW in Orlando, Florida.
