There was a online rumor going around a few months ago saying former WWE flop Nathan Jones had signed a contract with TNA. Meanwhile, Jones was injured in an automobile accident and had nerve damage in his arm as he was hit by a cement truck while training for his United States return to wrestling. Jones has indeed signed a contract with TNA and is scheduled to start at next month’s Genesis pay-per-view or shortly after. More than likely, he won’t be booked in matches right away.
Japanese star Akira Raijin, who was recently signed to a contract, is coming in under the name Kiyoshi. He is doing a Great Muta gimmick. His TNA ring name changed several times in planning.
Speaking of Kiyoshi, Scott D’Amore accompanied him for his debut on iMPACT! tonight. He is not however, back with the company as we noted earlier. He was backstage at the taping and TNA tossed him on camera for Kiyoshi’s segment. D’Amore remains on good terms with TNA after leaving the company a few months ago.
