Roman Reigns and The Shield WWE Update
WWE recently announced that Roman Reigns will be among the RAW brand talent scheduled for their upcoming European tour, which takes place this May. Dave Meltzer reported in last week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE officials currently believe Reigns will be able to resume a full-time schedule for the company starting as early as this upcoming tour.
While Dean Ambrose is still expected to leave the company following WrestleMania 35, WWE is advertising Shield matches for the cards of this tour. Braun Strowman is currently planned to be Ambrose’s replacement as an “Honorary Shield Member.”
Jim Cornette MLW Status Update
As noted before, Jim Cornette made his official debut for Major League Wrestling earlier this month and is currently scheduled for commentary work till MLW’s Battle Riot II event in New York City, New York on April 5th.
In an update to Cornette’s MLW status, MLW announced that they have recently “come to terms” with Jim Cornette on an extension of his dates for the company. Cornette is now scheduled to also appear at their June 1st event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and their July 6th event in Cicero, Illinois.
New Podcast Show Featuring Jim Ross Currently in Development
Conrad Thompson and Jim Ross reportedly are currently in negotiations with media company Westwood One regarding the production of a new wrestling themed podcast show, according to the Wrestling Observer.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Newsletter that this new podcast show would focus mainly on wrestling history and Ross’ lengthy career in the industry. Meltzer also reported that Thompson still has plans to continue his Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard podcast and this new podcast with Ross will not be its replacement.

NJPW reportedly sold around 4,500 tickets for the pre-sale of their August 31st Royal Quest 2019 event in London, England and around 1,600 tickets for first day sales of their July 6th G1 Climax event in Dallas, Texas, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Major League Wrestling announced three new matches for the card of their April 4th Rise of the Renegades event in Queens, New York:
– Minoru Tanaka vs. Daga
– Sami Callihan vs. Mance Warner
– Gringo Loco vs. Hijo de LA Park
ROH announced a new match for the card of their April 6th ROH-NJPW G1 Supercard event in New York City, New York:
