Despite the Superstar Shake-up technically being over, Samoa Joe is still expected to be moved to Raw, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
There was a segment planned for him on Raw, but he was so sick that it had to be canceled.
He wasn’t announced as part of the Superstar Shake-up. Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor moved from Raw to SmackDown, so it would make sense for the United States Champion Samoa Joe to move to Raw.
Joe also appeared to be starting a program with Braun Strowman since Strowman attacked him on SmackDown last week. The plan is for them to feud for the US title on Raw, according to Meltzer. It would make sense for Joe to show up on Raw to attack Strowman next week, since Strowman showed up on SmackDown last week.
